Magic: The Gathering - The Brothers' War: Mishra's Burnished Banner Commander Deck

Command the Battlefield with Mishra's Burnished Banner

The Brothers' War is one of Magic: The Gathering's most legendary storylines — two genius brothers, one catastrophic war, and artifacts that could reshape the world. Now you can live that conflict from Mishra's side with this ready-to-play Commander deck. It's packed with artifact synergies, mechanical threats, and the kind of explosive plays that make your pod lean forward in their chairs.

This is a Commander precon — that means it's a complete 100-card deck, sleeved up and ready to go right out of the box. No building required. Grab it, sit down, and start making decisions that matter on turn one.

Why This Deck Hits Different

Mishra's Burnished Banner leans hard into the artifact theme that defines The Brothers' War set. Mishra, Artificer Prodigy is one of MTG's most iconic characters, and this deck captures that energy — assembling war machines, recurring artifacts from the graveyard, and overwhelming opponents with sheer mechanical momentum.

• Artifact-centric strategy with deep synergy across the 99
• Includes exclusive Commander-legal cards not found in the main set
• Powerful out of the box — and a strong foundation to upgrade
• Great entry point for players new to Commander, and a solid addition for veterans who love the artifact archetype

What's in the Box

Built for the Table, Ready to Upgrade

Commander precons from Wizards of the Coast have come a long way — these aren't the underpowered precons of years past. Mishra's Burnished Banner is genuinely competitive at a casual pod, and if you want to push it further, the artifact theme gives you a clear upgrade path. Throw in some Myr, some Darksteel staples, or chase the big artifact bombs from the main Brothers' War set — the shell is already there waiting.

Whether you're a Vorthos who loves the lore or a Spike who wants to win through artifact recursion and overwhelming board states, this deck delivers. Pick it up at Crackerjack Stadium and bring the war to your table.
